Description
Description
The saddle is covered with OrthoCell material. This material adjust shape to accommodate your body and is lighter and more durable than gels common in other saddles. The shell and rails of the saddle are made of carbon. This makes the saddle very stiff, ensuring every pedal revolution counts. The carbon rails provide additional comfort and further reduce this saddle's weight.
Saddle shape
This saddle has a semi-round rear part, making it highly suitable for riders who move a little while they ride and whose hips rock a little from side to side. The semi-round shape provides plenty of support for those riders while maintaining sufficient freedom of movement compared to a flat saddle.
Flexibility
This is a semi-flat saddle, meaning that the saddle is flat at the front, and raised a little at the back. The shape makes it particularly suitable for riders with a moderate degree of flexibility in their spine. This has to do with how easily these riders can rotate their pelvis: they might need a little extra support when riding upright, but can manage on their own when riding on the drops.
Cut-out
This saddle has a cut-out and alleviates pressure for those who often experience discomfort or pressure to their soft tissue areas.

Not suitable for me.
Due to a problem with my pelvis, my position on the bike has been adjusted. Due to this changed position, my fizik aliante saddle was no longer comfortable. After more than 500 km with various adjustments, I failed to adjust it to my liking. Mainly the non-slip surface prevented me from shifting a bit on the saddle while riding. I have a seat bone distance of 13 cm and according to the Ergon size chart I took size m/l. This width is a limit for me anyway as I have a slight irritation in the flanks. I am back to looking for a saddle.
